Apreisindo stands for Asosiasi Profesi Ekspor Impor Seluruh Indonesia (Indonesian Export-Import Profession Association) It is a legal entity established by virtue of a deed drawn up by a notary in Jakarta. It is a non-profit oriented association which is led by professionals having tens years of experiences in export and import and practitioners such as exporters, importers, bankers, forwarders and lecturers of international trade and business. The main objective of "Asosiasi Profesi Ekspor Impor Seluruh Indonesia" is to improve the capability, quality and competency of human resources of those who have and will do business in internal export and import through education, training, seminars and workshops with final target of awarding both national and international profession certificates. The idea behind the establishment of the Indonesian Export Import Profession Association is the government policy in stipulating the free trade which will result in the entry of foreign investors who may find it difficult to find out human resources with sufficient competency in export and import. This difficulty will obviously hinder the investment development in Indonesia. The Indonesian Export-Import Profession Association was established as a follow up of the establishment of the Export Import Course Consortium by virtue of the Decree of the Indonesia Director General of Extracurricular Education, number : KEP-228/EMS/2006, dated February 23rd, 2006 concerning the establishment of the Export Import Course Consortium. The management and establishment of the Association has been inaugurated by the Director General of Extracurricular Education, Ministry of National Education. The Indonesian Export-Import Profession Association, Apreisindo has a head office and branch office(s). The profile of the some head office management is enumerated below. The branch office which has been established is Jabotabek Apreisindo Branch Office and the establishment of the branch offices at other regional areas will follow. For its daily activities, Apreisindo head office is led and managed by professional practitioners with experiences of more than 30 years in their respective field. Each member of the association has an expertise in their respective field in respect of the problem-solving, facilities and procedures. Therefore, these expertise can support and facility of your international business especially in the export and import business. The members and management of Apreisindo head office comprise of professionals active in various field such as lecturers at state-run and private universities, exporters and importers, forwarding consultant and practitioners and businessmen from the Customs Clearance Businessmen.
